As a small, working farm and B&B, we’re continually trying to make more conscious choices about how we run things. We’re not perfect - but we are committed to making meaningful changes where we can and improving step by step.

Our B&B is powered by on-site ground source heating and solar panels, helping us reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and make use of renewable energy generated right here on the farm.

We recycle our waste wherever possible and are happy to sort guest recyclables to ensure they’re properly processed. If you’re unsure what can be recycled during your stay, just leave it out for us and we’ll take care of it.

In our kitchen, we use ‘smol’ dishwasher tablets, which minimise harsh chemicals and reduce unnecessary plastic packaging.
We have replaced sachets on amenity trays with jars and provide daily cooled water in refillable glass bottles and milk in small, reuseable flasks.

Across the B&B, you’ll find toilet rolls from Who Gives A Crap - a company committed to reducing plastic waste and supporting sanitation projects worldwide.

Our toiletry products are made by Out of Eden. They are made in the UK, using vegan & cruelty-free ingredients. We use refillable containers, limiting unnecessary packaging and wastage.
